About Daytime Postpartum Doula Support
Whether you are needing some help with getting your morning routine started, an extra set of hands to help you get some things checked off your to-do list, lactation support, bedtime routine advice or hands-on newborn care education, our professionals are here to help!
What can you expect from a daytime session?
Parents have described daytime sessions like “having a clone of yourself so you can be in 2 places at once", “it’s like having your sister or best friend who knows all things Baby come and hang out with you!”, “like a nanny, but better!”
But what do we do?
Our goal with daytime support is to make sure you are able to recover from birth, spend time bonding with your baby & focus on taking care of yourself and your relationship with your new little family.
We are here to:
Help you catch up on dishes & laundry,
Help with meal prep for the week,
Either go with you to run errands or run errands for you,
Offer newborn care advice,
Offer lactation support within our scope of practice,
Advice on setting up a solid bedtime routine,
Be a listening ear and offer emotional support while you figure out this parenting thing.
This is not a comprehensive list by any means. Every family has different needs, and our professionals are happy to support you where you need it.
How often to families use Daytime Support?
Every family’s needs are different, but typically, our families book us for 2-3 days per week anywhere from 1 month to 4 months.
