Postpartum Doula | Overnight Support | Sleep Coach

Where are you from and what brought you to Kansas City?

I'm originally from New Hampshire, and moved to Kansas City in 2016 for my husband to do his doctoral studies at UMKC. We left for a few years and are so excited to be back for good!

What services do you provide and what made you interested in working with new families?

I provide overnight care. I have always loved babies (pretty much since I was one!), and loved babysitting as a high school student and nannying through college and during summers off when I was a teacher. After I had my own baby in 2021, I realized how much support new families deserve. When we made the move back to Kansas City, it was the perfect time to pursue helping postpartum mamas and new families.

What is your background in?

My bachelors is in Music Education, and I taught Pre-K though 6th grade music for 9 years before joining Oh Baby! KC. I completed my Postpartum Doula training through DONA International.

What are 3 of your strengths?

I strive to bring a sense of calm to any situation, and tune into what families need in the moment, and how to set them up for success in the future. I love organizing and planning too!

What are 3 things you enjoy doing?

My background is in music so I always love singing, playing piano or flute, or listening to music! I love running and any excuse to be outside, and I love going on adventures (near and far) with my husband and daughter.
