Lydia Judin
Birth, Postpartum & Bereavement Doula
Lydia, originally from Dallas, TX has made her home in the Northland of Kansas City, MO for 13 years where she has been a devoted wife for 25 years and a nurturing mom to four young adult children. Lydia’s heart's desire is to assist and serve families with an attentive, calm and gentle spirit.
Drawing from her many experiences caring for children as a teenager to navigating the difficulties of her firstborn in a critical birth situation, as well as, enjoying birthing her last born in the comfort of her own home, Lydia is well versed in helping to support and guide young mothers safely along their motherhood journey.
Lydia studied Elementary Education at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She has also completed birth and postpartum doula training through DONA International. In addition, she has completed training through Prevention and Treatment of Traumatic Childbirth (PATTCh) and is participating in training as a bereavement doula to walk beside parents through pregnancy loss.
When Lydia is not helping to empower mothers to bravely birth, nurture and tenderly love their babies, she enjoys quiet time by taking long walks with her husband, family time, gardening, swimming and pursuing her own health and wholeness by reading self-care books. Her greatest joy is seeing families thrive in their new roles.
