We just had our third little one in December and we are truly grateful for Mary and her tremendous doulas. We worked with four doulas during our time with Oh Baby! and had an incredibly positive relationship experience with each and formed relationships we hope to continue! They were educated, professional, loving to our baby girl, and respectful of our needs. I recommended Mary and her doulas to several of my mom friends having a second or third child and each has said how incredibly helpful and knowledgeable their doulas have been. Her validation that he had more going on health wise helped to support conversations and solutions with our pediatrician. Literally implementing just two changes from her plan got him waking only two times the first night compared to 4-6 times a night. We have been doing the plan she gave us for almost five months now and we are out of both of kiddos rooms by 7:30 pm now, and they are sleeping through the night. 🙌🏼❤️ I so appreciated her helping us to navigate and still support nursing and mommy snuggles into our plan and keeping things gentle. Mary helped us review and plan for labor ahead of time, and helped provide him with strategies to turn to and to research before the big event. This was beneficial for me, as well - having someone to hash out my fears and worries with surrounding labor was SO helpful, and having a plan B (and C 😝) gave me the peace of mind I had been looking for....!
Mary checked in with me frequently leading up to “Labor Day,” and was available for me to bounce ideas off of when different issues came up. She was available to my husband when I went into labor to touch base and make recommendations/refresh his memory on things I might need.
I figured doula services would be well worth it, but had never actually had one for my own birth before. As it turned out, having Mary’s help was invaluable. I know her help with education, planning, and walking through birth itself contributed to how well things went! I would 100% recommend her to anyone considering doula services.

I wanted to share my appreciation for Darla and how much she helped our family. These are our first babies - yes twins - and Darla came in to help me and my husband starting two days after coming home from the hospital. That first week was a lot easier to recover from a C-section with the good nights of sleep - which I had knowing that the girls were in good hands and Darla took care of everything we needed. This continued for the two months that Darla took care of the girls. She was great to not only take care of the girls but also for advice and answer any questions I had as a new mom and postpartum. I also used Oh Baby! KC for a postpartum doula. We had Annisa stay with us for 1 night after we came home from the hospital. I was unsure about having her, as it went against all my maternal instincts. After speaking with Mary, she emphasized how important it was for me and my husband to get a good nights sleep to recover from labor. Oh Baby, was she right! Annisa came into our home with grace and kindness to help. She showed me how to use my baby wrap, gave suggestions on nursing positions, and held our baby with such kindness and warmth. She woke us for feedings, sat with me for a couple of them, and was and overall calming presence to have on our first night home.
